Description
Alfalfa (Medicago sativa, certified organic)
Contains high content of protein, vitamins A, D, E, B6, and K, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, chlorophyll, carotenes, trace minerals, and digestive enzymes. Can help prevent anemia and other vitamin deficiencies, and helps prevent hemorrhaging during childbirth.
Anise seed (Pimpinella anisum, certified organic)
For flatulence, colic, bronchitis, and whooping cough. Anise is a uterine stimulant in high doses and should be used minimally during pregnancy.
Astragulus (Astragulus membranaceus, certified organic)
Strengthens the immune system, and is great for coughs, asthma, and the respiratory system, often used for children.
Black Cohosh (Cimicifuga racemosa, certified organic)
Hormone balancer, often used for menstrual problems, menopausal symptoms, and during labor. Black cohosh is a uterine stimulant and should not be used during pregnancy, however it is often used during childbirth.
Black Walnut (Juglans nigra, wildharvested)
Anti-fungal, for yeast, thrush, parasites, staph, ringworm, athlete’s foot, and other candida growth. Black walnut should not be used during pregnancy.
Blessed Thistle seed (Cnicus benedictus, certified organic)
Stimulates lactation, helpful for appetite loss, indigestion, diarrhea and hemorrhage.
Blue Cohosh (Caulophyllum thalictroides, wildharvested)
Uterine tonic, may ease childbirth pain when combined with black cohosh, promotes menstruation. Blue Cohosh is a uterine stimulant and should not be used during pregnancy, however it is often used during childbirth.
Borage (Borago officinalis, certified organic)
Renews adrenal glands, stimulates lactation, helps stress and fever.
Burdock Root (Arctium lappa, certified organic)
Blood purifier, helps digestion and balancing blood sugar, arthritis, and skin ailments. Supports urinary organs, liver, and kidneys, and uterine tone before and after birth.
